"A mist makes things wonderful." said Oscar Wilde. After visiting Scotland, you realize he was absolutely right. During our family road trip, we discovered life in a campervan, we bought the kitschiest bauble from a Christmas store in the middle of spring, and we took the time to imagine ourselves as explorers in search of Loch Ness monster, owners of a typical pub, cow and sheep breeders, castle guardians, managers of a lakeside campsite, apprentice sorcerers, or even secret agents. I rested, I daydreamed, and I asked myself what my children will remember from this trip. So for their current memories and their future dreams, I drew our journey.
